Mandy McCain
Mandy's journey with Faithfully Restored began at a Fall Fundraiser Event, where she was deeply moved by the stories of resilient women finding healing after facing tragedy. An encounter with Jamie, who shared a similar experience of losing a father to suicide, struck a chord with her.
The loss of her own father to suicide at the age of thirty, shortly after becoming a mother, led Mandy through profound grief, anger, and a period of spiritual questioning. Support from friends, family, and her husband offered solace during this trying time. Mandy's acceptance of the Lord at 21 gave her a foundation of hope, allowing her to trust in His healing power even through such a painful experience.
Faithfully Restored's mission, centered around uplifting women through care, encouragement, and a sense of community founded on hope in Jesus, deeply resonated with her. Mandy is committed to serving, praying, and supporting women in their moments of pain.
Originally from Albertville, Alabama, Mandy pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama. Her journey led her and her husband, Sam, through various states before settling in Brentwood, TN. They have two daughters, Kathryn (16) and Caroline (13). With two decades of experience in Fortune 500 companies, Mandy now serves as an Executive Advisor, guiding manufacturing businesses toward growth and success. Debbie Cooney
My name is Debbie Cooney; I grew up in Slippery Rock, PA. I am a retired mother of three daughters and Grammy to five (one in heaven) joyous grandchildren. I moved to Knoxville when my youngest daughter Jamie Heard, a founding member of Faithfully Restored, followed in her two sisters' footsteps and attended the University of Tennessee. I fell in love with Tennessee and now call Nashville home. We don’t always know why God leads us in a certain direction but when William died, I realized why God wanted me in Nashville.
I love to travel, especially to Chicago, where I have 2 other grandsons. I enjoy reading historical fiction mostly about WWII, and last year traveled to Europe on a 75th Anniversary of D-Day tour.
I have done accounting for over 40 years working for family businesses, women-owned businesses and nonprofit organizations. It is with great honor that I can support my daughter and her friends in their mission of helping and caring for hurting women by showing them support through God's love.

Trey Schablik
Trey is a Nashville native, having lived all but two years of his life in and around Nashville. Being a product of a newborn adoption and with family members with special needs, he has a heart to serve those with similar situations and others who find themselves in need. Having served in the Fellowship Bible Church Children’s Ministry for over ten years, he and his wife have a love and deep admiration for the Heard family and how they (and others) have turned their situation into something that helps so many individuals and families through some of the hardest situations in life. Trey is excited to be able to serve in an advisory role to Faithfully Restored and is excited to see what God can do through this ministry and these people!
Trey has over twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving as the CFO of a large independent Physician practice serving thousands of Middle TN patients each year. He and his wife, Heather, currently live in Franklin with their two daughters, Claire (15) and Emily (12).

Brittney Cooper
Brittney Cooper, CPA is a Tennessee native and financial professional with over a decade of experience in public accounting. She holds a Master of Accountancy with a specialization in Taxation from Middle Tennessee State University. Her greatest blessing and ministry is being a mother to her 5-year-old daughter, Livy.
Brittney’s journey with Faithfully Restored began when she met Jamie during a season of deep grief after losing one of her closest friends to cancer. In that moment, she immediately connected with the organization’s mission of walking alongside women through life’s trials. During that time, Brittney also discovered a deeply personal connection with Jamie and Mandy through experiences of profound family loss. She believes God aligned their paths for a greater purpose and sees her involvement with Faithfully Restored as part of that calling.
As a board member of Faithfully Restored, Brittney is passionate about helping cultivate a community where women feel seen, supported, and uplifted. She is committed to advancing the organization’s mission of providing hope, encouragement, and tangible support to women navigating difficult seasons—reminding them that restoration and renewal are always possible through faith, community, and God’s grace.

Anastasia Matthews
Anastasia Matthews’ connection to Faithfully Restored is deeply personal. After losing her husband, Chris, in January 2024 following an unexpected illness, Anastasia found herself navigating a life she never expected—grieving the loss of her husband while raising their two children, Isaiah and Naomi. Through that season, her faith and the support of family, friends, and community reminded her that even in life’s most painful circumstances, there can still be hope, purpose, and joy ahead.
That experience deepened Anastasia’s appreciation for the importance of walking alongside women during seasons of loss, transition, and uncertainty. Faithfully Restored’s mission of offering hope, encouragement, and community rooted in Jesus resonates deeply with her. She is honored to serve on the Board of Directors and help further its mission of ensuring women do not have to navigate difficult seasons alone.
Professionally, Anastasia is a seasoned human resources executive with 20 years of experience building strong cultures, developing leaders, engaging employees, and helping organizations navigate change. Her most recent experience includes executive HR leadership within a global Fortune 500 organization, with responsibilities spanning corporate human resources, culture, employee engagement, talent, and diversity and inclusion.
Originally from New Jersey, Anastasia now lives in Evansville, Indiana, with Isaiah (13) and Naomi (11). She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, serving her community, and connecting meaningfully with others.

Michelle Bodwell
For over 25 years, Michelle has walked alongside women during their hardest life seasons as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Board Certified Registered Art Therapist®, and Spiritual Director. After relocating from Southern California to Nashville in 2022, she was introduced to Faithfully Restored during a Sunday morning worship service. She resonated deeply with the founders’ stories, which echoed her own journey through grief following the loss of her brother as a teenager and a divorce after two decades of marriage.
During those seasons of loss, sorrow, and grief, Michelle experienced firsthand the healing power of God’s comfort and transformation through His Word, community, and her own creative expression. Out of her passion for the intersection of faith, creativity, and wholeness, she now leads faith-based retreats and workshops that offer a sacred space to slow down and commune with God through the act of making.
Michelle is honored to bring her personal journey and clinical expertise to the Faithfully Restored board, where she is committed to uplifting both the ministry’s mission and its staff and volunteers by extending the comfort and compassion she has received from God.
Now in a "boomerang nester" season of life, Michelle loves traveling, volunteering at a local horse barn, and being a mom to her two young adult sons.

Kristin Mathis,
M.S., CCC-SLP
Kristin has called Nashville home and has been serving children and families in the community since 1998 through her work as a Speech-Language Pathologist. With more than 27 years of experience across private practice and schools, Kristin has dedicated her career to helping children and families navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop their strengths. She currently serves at Child & Family Therapy Collective, where she specializes in social communication, anxiety-related communication challenges, and supporting children with Selective Mutism and other developmental differences.
Kristin’s passion for serving children with special needs and their families extends beyond her professional life. For several years, she served as a director of a local church’s special needs Buddy Ministry, where she had the privilege of creating opportunities for children and families to experience belonging and fellowship within their church community.
Over the years, Kristin has become increasingly aware of how God has gifted her to walk alongside others in the “valleys” of life. Through her own seasons of challenge, she has learned to recognize when others may need additional support and encouragement—and to meet them there with compassion and understanding. She believes some of the most meaningful ministry happens when we are willing to be the 'hands and feet of Christ' to others in difficult seasons.
Kristin has been aware of Faithfully Restored and its mission since its beginning and has watched with admiration as the organization has grown and continued to serve women throughout and beyond our immediate Nashville community. In this season of her life, she feels grateful that her professional and personal circumstances have allowed her to take a step toward becoming more directly involved in the mission of Faithfully Restored.
As a board member, Kristin is passionate about helping create a community where women feel seen, supported, and encouraged through life’s difficult seasons. She hopes to use the gifts and experiences God has given her to help Faithfully Restored continue walking alongside women with compassion, practical support, and the reminder that God is present even in the valleys.
Kristin is continually encouraged by the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3–4: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” As she has received comfort from God and her community, Kristin considers it a privilege to be part of the Faithfully Restored organization that is committed to comforting women and bringing them restoration, hope, and faith through their valleys of life.
