When Shannon first walked through the doors of Faithfully Restored, she wasn't looking to be served. She was looking for a place to serve someone else.

In the middle of a painful divorce, she needed somewhere to redirect her heart. She found it by writing handwritten notes, assembling care packages, and praying for women whose stories felt surprisingly familiar. Then one day, another volunteer unknowingly handed her a stack of cards addressed to single mothers. As Shannon wrote each note, she realized God was gently reminding her that she wasn't walking through her own valley alone.

That simple act of serving became part of her own healing.

Over the years, Shannon has experienced Faithfully Restored from both sides. She has packed the pink boxes, prayed over complete strangers, and eventually found herself receiving one of those same care packages during a difficult season of her own. What began as an opportunity to encourage others became a powerful reminder that God often restores us while we're helping restore someone else.

Today, Shannon continues serving because she knows firsthand what every woman who opens one of those packages needs to hear: You are seen. You are loved. You are not forgotten.
