-Discipleship & Volunteer Coordinator
Ashleigh Sharp
Hi! I’m Ashleigh, the Discipleship and Volunteer Coordinator at Faithfully Restored. In my role, I have the privilege of getting to know our volunteers, helping them discover their God-given gifts and creating meaningful opportunities for them to serve. I am passionate about helping each child of God understand her identity in Christ and encouraging her to use her unique gifts within her family, her community and the Kingdom.
I believe that when we better understand who we are in Christ, we gain the confidence to love and serve others well. I look forward to creating events that bring women together to receive encouragement, build community and perhaps even learn something new.
Before joining Faithfully Restored, I spent many years working in interior design. That experience prepared me beautifully for this new season. My work involved listening closely to clients, creating a vision and bringing that vision to life in a way that made their homes feel like a haven. I always viewed my work as a form of ministry because being invited into someone’s home often felt like being invited into her heart.
Organizing, rearranging, letting go of old things and renovating spaces have always reminded me of the transformation Christ brings to our lives. I love walking alongside others as they seek restoration and discover the beauty God can create within their stories.
My husband and I were high school sweethearts at Brentwood Academy and have now been married for 35 years. We live on a small farm in College Grove and have two children, three “grand-darlings,” two miniature horses, chickens, two cats and two dogs. I am also blessed to have a large extended family throughout the Nashville area. Outside of Faithfully Restored, I especially enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds me to surrender my plans to the Lord and trust His direction, even when I cannot see or understand the path ahead.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5–6
