Debbie Cooney

Hi! I’m Debbie, the Treasurer at Faithfully Restored. With more than 40 years of accounting experience, I have worked with family businesses, women-owned businesses and nonprofit organizations. It is a great honor to use that experience to support my daughter, Jamie, and the Faithfully Restored team as they carry out the mission of caring for women and reminding them of God’s love.

I grew up in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Knoxville when Jamie, my youngest daughter and one of the founders of Faithfully Restored, followed in her two older sisters’ footsteps and attended the University of Tennessee. I quickly fell in love with Tennessee and now call Nashville home. After my grandson William died, I understood why God had led me here and placed me close to my family.

I am a retired mother of three daughters and Grammy to five joyful grandchildren, including one in Heaven. I love traveling, especially to Chicago to visit two of my grandsons, and reading historical fiction about World War II. One of my most memorable experiences was traveling to Europe for a 75th anniversary tour of D-Day.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6–7
